Our Friends
360 Palawan is a social enterprise, with the mission of giving back 100% of our profits (after return of capital) to the community and environment and further development of our venture. We are committed to creating a network of socially-oriented individuals and institutions in order to deliver value for our community and our environment. Please contact us and join our network if you have similar aims!

INSEAD, the international business school, where our founder (Mahboob Mahmood) teaches social entrepreneurship, has played a pivotal role in conceptualizing and launching 360 Palawan. The original idea for 360 Palawan was developed by a group of INSEAD MBAs through an MBA social entrepreneurship field trip class to Port Barton in April 2009. Subsequently, two INSEAD MBAs, Deo Custodio and Marcus Heers, played an instrumental role in helping us navigate our start up phase and, over a period of two months in Port Barton, Marcus helped us work out a long range plan for marine rehabilitation. 360 Palawan has also served as a case study for a social entrepreneurship class run by the INSEAD Social Entrepreneurship Program.

Bigfoot is a multi-dimensional film and entertainment company, with extensive film production facilities and a film school in Cebu. The founder of Bigfoot, Michael Gleissner, has played an instrumental role as a social investor in establishing 360 Palawan. We also have a grant commitment from Bigfoot Foundation for exclusive investment in social and environmental projects.
